Shopping & Buying on OZeBaby
Shopping on OZeBaby is easy, it's like a cross between a regular online store and a shopping centre.

How is it like a regular online store?

Well you browse around looking at all the great things on offer, view by product category or by store.

You pick out what you'd like to buy and pop it in your shopping cart (sorry, US written software HeeHee) and go to the checkout.

Then you create a customer account or log in if you've bought here before.

You thoughtfully choose your preferred payment method (usually the one that is least likely to attract the attention of other interested parties in the house) and complete the order.

You pay for your order via PayPal or wait to receive payment details from the seller and pay as instructed.

And finally, you stalk the postman until they deliver your goodies.

How is it like a shopping centre?

All your favourite stores are in one spot, so you don't have to drive around all over town, or in this case click all over the net.

You get to see and buy some of your favourite online stores regular and sale items, as well as a range of special one of a kind, limited edition or unique items.

But you also get a chance to see some products you may not have seen before because the seller doesn't have a web site or online store.

You can browse different brands and styles, compare features and pick from your best loved products along side products you may not be familiar with yet.

How does it work?

Each store on OZeBaby is totally independent and you are essentially buying from individual businesses, you just do it all in one place, all in one go. Once your order is placed, it is split up and sent to the appropriate stores for payments (except for PayPal payments) and posting. All queries and questions about your order or the products listed on the web site should be made to the stores in question and you can do that through the "contact us" page. Each store also handles its own after sale service, warranty issues and follow ups.

Auctions vs. Set Price Sales

Some items are sold at a set price and some are auctioned over a set period of time.

When you view your cart you will see a little padlock symbol next to set price items that shows you whether the item is considered sold when it goes in your shopping cart or when you check out. If the padlock is closed it means the first person to put it in their cart gets to buy it, if it's unlocked it's the first person to go through the checkout with it that gets to buy it.

There are two types of auctions that can be conducted on the site so please take care to check which type it is before bidding.

Proxy - Proxy means if you bid $7, then the bid is automatically adjusted to the next amount above the last bid. (i.e. if the prior bid was $3.50, and your increment was $0.75) then the bid would be set to $4.25 and it would increment automatically until it hit the $7.00.

High Bid mode - if you bid $5.00 the bid is automatically upped to $5.00.

Auction bids are final and binding and are considered a contract of sale between you and the seller, so please think before you bid and only bid as much as you are willing to pay and can afford to pay within a few days of the end of the auction. Please contact the seller if you have any questions and check the sizing if any of the item before entering your bid. If you have any problems with paying after winning an auction please contact the seller to see if some arrangement can be made.
